Aamshraddha Vidhi Puja  is a Hindu ritual performed to honor and pay tribute to deceased ancestors, especially during Pitru Paksha or on the death anniversary. It involves offerings of food, water, and prayers to ensure peace and liberation for the departed soul. The puja begins with a sankalp (vow), followed by tarpan (water offerings) and pind daan (rice balls offered to ancestors). A Brahmin is usually invited to perform the rituals and receive dakshina and food. This vidhi is a symbol of gratitude and reverence, ensuring the blessings of ancestors for the well-being and prosperity of the family.
