Tripindi Shraddha is a sacred Hindu ritual performed to pacify departed souls who have not received proper post-death rites, ensuring their liberation and peace in the afterlife. It is usually conducted when ancestors, spanning three generations, are believed to be dissatisfied or restless due to incomplete or neglected Shraddha rituals. This puja is performed by offering pind daan (rice balls) along with tarpan (water oblations) to the souls at holy places like Trimbakeshwar, Gaya, and Haridwar. Tripindi Shraddha removes ancestral curses (Pitru Dosha), brings prosperity, and ensures family well-being by pleasing ancestors and seeking their blessings for overall harmony.
